Our third annual Spring Fling celebrated outstanding mentorship in our community. Acclaimed comic Lewis Black presented the Einhorn Mentorship Award to our own take-no-prisoners, Emmy Award-winning comedian, writer, and ESPA instructor Judy Gold. Attendees celebrated in a festive atmosphere with DJ Vicki Vibe and Lewis Black, and floated from tasting station to tasting station. Plus, raffle prizes satisfied the curiosities of food and theater lovers alike. Proceeds from the event directly benefit the Primary Stages Einhorn School of Performing Arts (ESPA), which nurtures playwrights, actors, and directors in all stages of their careers and from all corners of the globe.
The Einhorn Mentorship Award was established in 2017 to recognize a leader who inspires and advocates for the next generation of artists, embodies the values and exuberant energy Annie and Marvin Einhorn were known for, and serves as an extraordinary mentor in our community. Past honorees include Tony Award-winning composer, Jeanine Tesori, and acclaimed director, Kimberly Senior.
