This ticket program allows students to purchase tickets for $20.
Student rush tickets are available at the box office 1 hour prior to show time. Maximum two tickets per valid student ID. Cash or credit card may be used to purchase tickets.
This ticket program allows theatergoers 35 and under to purchase tickets for $20.
Advance tickets are available online by using code PS35. Maximum two tickets per vaild ID. Failure to present a valid ID will result in an additional $50 fee. All tickets are subject to availability.
PAY WHAT YOU CAN PERFORMANCES
“Pay What You Can” at Primary Stages is a night of theater that puts you in charge of the ticket price. Use your spare change for a night of Off-Broadway theater and experience something new. PLEASE NOTE: "Pay What You Can" will now operate under a lottery system. Participants may not arrive at the theater prior to 4pm. Please read the NEW rules below before attending.

Poor Behavior by Theresa Rebeck: July 29 & 30
While I Yet Live by Billy Porter: September 23 & 24
Lives of the Saints by David Ives: February 3 & 4
Between 4pm and 4:30pm, entries will be accepted for the Pay What You Can lottery in the box office lobby at The Duke on 42nd Street.
Only one entry is allowed per person and entries will be checked for duplicates prior to the drawing.
At 4:30pm, entries will be drawn at random for a limited number of tickets available to be purchased at any price.
Each winner may select to purchase either 1 or 2 tickets. Minimum of $1 paid per ticket. Cash only, no change given.
If chosen, winners must be present when their entry is called to purchase tickets. No exceptions.
Winners are not able to select seats or be shown where seats are located before purchase.
Winners will not be able to move or change seats after purchase.
No one will be able to enter the lottery or gain entrance to the lobby prior to 4pm.
There will be a minimum of 20 tickets sold per performance.
