Musical Theater Repertoire: Clean Up Your Book

Instructor: Daniel Goldstein

(Godspell on Broadway)

Piano Accompaniment provided by Michael Larsen (Annie, Nine, Little Shop of Horrors on Broadway)

In musical theater auditions, you’re only as good as your repertoire. In this 6-week class, Daniel Goldstein will raid your audition book, offering feedback on your best songs, weeding out those that don’t work for you, and helping you fill in the blanks by selecting one new song that will truly showcase your talent and round out your repertoire. Actors should bring in their full audition book and be prepared to sing anything from it. As you clean up and enhance your musical arsenal, you will begin to identify your niche as a musical theater actor and learn what roles to pursue to get noticed.

Fridays from 12:00pm – 3:00pm

March 30, April 6, 13, 20, 27, May 4

Auditions and/or interviews are mandatory for admission into ESPA’s acting department.
