This is a five-week writing intensive geared toward writing the first draft of a play in a short period of time. Students will be empowered to free their imaginations through writing exercises, take-home assignments and in-class readings with feedback from their instructor and artistic peers. This liberation of the mind, along with a concrete deadline, will propel you forward in the creation of characters and storylines. By the end of the course, you will have at least a semi-finished draft in hand, as well as the necessary skills to trust your imagination while writing with renewed focus and determination to meet a deadline.
