If you've been dreaming of making your mark during the Golden Age of Television, but you don't know where to start, this is it. Led by Tanya Saracho, playwright of the Primary Stages mainstage production Fade and Mala Hierba at Second Stage, and writer and co-producer of ABC's "How to Get Away with Murder," HBO's "Looking," and Lifetime's "Devious Maids," this seminar will cover the first steps toward making a good living in Hollywood. Tanya will discuss her professional trajectory and how she moved through the theater and film worlds to accomplish her career goals, followed by an open Q&A session about what it takes to be a writer in this industry. At the end of the workshop, you will be able to recognize what works in this medium and understand strategies to carve out a space for yourself in any writer's room based on Tanya's first-hand experience.
This workshop also comes with a complimentary ticket to the Primary Stages mainstage production of Fade at the Cherry Lane Theatre. Come whenever you choose, including the matinee performance directly after the workshop with Tanya on February 11! Once your registration is received, we will reach out to you with ticketing information.
