The final magic ingredient for any play in development is hearing it aloud and putting it in front of an audience. This rigorous class is for those with complete drafts who are ready to hear their play in full and embark on strategic rewrites.

By application only. Students will be asked to write a mission statement and bullet point their goals for taking this class as part of this application. Admission will be based on one’s ability to evaluate the current state of their play and the feasibility of attaining their goals, and will be on a rolling basis. Students will be required to hear their play aloud once on their own before class starts to better understand their goals for revision, and can use Primary Stages space and actors if needed.
