You’ve got the perfect idea for a production, and you’re just the person to direct it! Whether it’s a new play in development or a groundbreaking idea for a revival, you’ve got to win the favor of a producer to get it off the ground by both selling the project and yourself. In this workshop, you’ll cover how to make the most of a meeting with producers, including preparing a convincing portfolio, tailoring your pitch to align with a company’s aesthetic, and articulating your vision and goals. The workshop will culminate in pitch sessions with Casey, who will ask the tough questions and provide critical feedback. You’ll leave this workshop with the tools you need to confidently walk into any meeting with a comprehensive, professional pitch of your dream project.
This workshop is capped at 10 students to insure participants receive the hands-on mentoring required to master these skills. Registration requires permission from ESPA Administration. Please email espa@primarystages.org with your resume and statement of purpose in taking this workshop.
