In a musical theater audition, you are expected to showcase your singing abilities and prove your dramatic chops in under a minute. This requires a command of your craft and the ability to move your audience. In this 7-week class, Tony Award winner Randy Graff will help you develop the tools to personalize a lyric and tell a story through full songs and then apply that technique to your 16-bar cuts. Covering traditional musical theater, rock, and pop, you will leave this class prepared for every musical audition. Your final class will be attended by Marcia Milgrom Dodge (Tony-nominated Director and Choreographer, Ragtime on Broadway), who will provide invaluable insight and feedback.
Please note that final class guests are subject to change.
