DENNY DILLON
is an award-winning television, stage and film actress. An alumna of “Saturday Night Live,” she made her Broadway debut in Gypsy, starring Angela Lansbury. Other Broadway credits include Enchanted April, The Skin of Our Teeth with Elizabeth Ashley, Harold and Maude and My One and Only with Tommy Tune and Twiggy (Tony nomination, Best Supporting Actress in a Musical). A familiar TV face, Dillon was a cast member of the ’80-’81 season of “SNL” and won a CableACE award “Best Actress in a Comedy Series” for the HBO hit series “Dream On.” Other television credits include “Night Court,” “Designing Women,” “Nash Bridges,” “Women in Prison,” among others. She starred in the title role of the FOX-TV movie “Roseanne: Portrait of a Domestic Goddess.” Film: Saturday Night Fever, Garbo Talks, Only You, Ice-Age (voice), and the critically acclaimed United 93, which won the Boston Critics “Best Ensemble Cast.” She is currently an Artist in-Residence at SUNY Ulster College where she teaches improvisation. Her company, Improv Nation, has performed to sold-out houses at the Actors & Writers Theatre in Olive, NY and Stamford Center for the Performing Arts.
