DAVID ADJMI

 

is the recent recipient of the 2009 Kesselring and Bush Artist Fellowships. Other plays include Stunning (Lincoln Center Theater), The Evildoers (Sundance & Yale Rep), Elective Affinities (Royal Shakespeare Company), Marie Antoinette (Soho Rep W/D Lab, Sundance/Public Theatre Residency, Goodman Theatre New Stages Series), Caligula (Soho Rep Studio Series), and Strange Attractors (Empty Space). Honors: McKnight Advancement Grant, Jerome Fellowship, Helen Merrill Award, Marian Seldes-Garson Kanin Award, Cherry Lane Mentor Project Fellowship, multiple MacDowell Colony fellowships, Sundance/Ucross residency and others. David has been awarded commissions from Lincoln Center Theatre, Yale Rep, Berkeley Rep, and the Royal Court. He attended Sarah Lawrence College, the Iowa Playwrights Workshop, and the Juilliard School. He is a member of New Dramatists, the Dramatists Guild, MCC Playwrights Coalition and Vinegar Tom Players. A collection of his work, Stunning and Other Plays, will be published by TCG in 2010.
